Walt Disney Company Korea (hereafter Disney Korea) is once again launching the 'Mickey and Friends: Seoul Tour' campaign, which received an enthusiastic response last year, with even more special collaborations and brand experiences this year.
The 'Mickey and Friends: Seoul Tour' campaign was first introduced last year with the concept of 'Mickey Mouse' and his friends 'Minnie Mouse', 'Pluto', 'Goofy', 'Donald Duck', 'Daisy Duck', and 'Chip 'n' Dale' traveling around Seoul. As part of the campaign, various activities such as a music collaboration with AKMU's Lee Su-hyun, the 'Mickey in Deoksugung: Art Beyond Borders' exhibition at Deoksugung Palace's Dondeokjeon in partnership with the Cultural Heritage Administration, and the launch of products inspired by the blend of Korean elements and 'Mickey and Friends' characters garnered significant attention.
The 'Mickey and Friends: Seoul Tour 2025' campaign, making its return this year, will shift its stage to hip, everyday spaces frequented by Generation Z, highlighting 'Mickey and Friends' enjoying Seoul's trendy culture. Particularly noteworthy is the unique collaboration with the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO), which is expected to spotlight the distinctive charm of 'Mickey and Friends' and attract considerable attention. Additionally, there will be special opportunities to meet 'Mickey Mouse' in person at locations popular among Seoul's contemporary young generation, such as Seongsu and Jamsil Baseball Stadium.
Launch of collaborative products with KBO and surprise baseball stadium events
Disney Korea, in collaboration with KBO, will present limited-edition 'Mickey Mouse' character products featuring designs for each of the 10 teams. This collection, comprising a total of 13 collaborative products including bags, cheering sticks, headbands, dolls, keyrings, pin badges, and ticket holders, is expected to entice baseball fans' desire to collect and provide new enjoyment for Disney fans as well.
On July 10, 'Mickey Mouse' will visit Jamsil Baseball Stadium for a photo session with the audience, prize giveaways, and more.
